Research with us at V-BRYGE 2023!
At V-BRYGE, You will have the opportunity to have your research, blog posts, or creative projects published, acquire professional experience in a variety of fields with mentorship from senior peers, obtain in-depth research skills with the opportunity to work in a thematic focus group of your choice and get personalized feedback from industry experts and high-profile scholars/policymakers.
Our researchers are part of a community and network of motivated university students and young professionals from all over the globe. They will also have a chance to join the JHU Vanguard Think Tank research team and the V-BRYGE organization committee, and the selected best delegates will receive honorary certificates.
Who are we looking for? You should be:
- an undergraduate or graduate student OR high school student in your final year OR a young professional
- a dedicated and open-minded researcher willing to take initiative and who has the desire to foster meaningful exchanges of ideas and opinions
- proficient in English
- enthusiastic and motivated in issues pertaining to China
- a team player
- able to meet deadlines
What does the position entail? We are expecting you to:
- undertake research in one of the conference sub-topics of your interest
- attend V-BRYGE April conference's all lecture, panel sessions, and conversations
- write academic, journalistic, and professional pieces
- attend online social and academic events from February to May 2023
- adhere to referencing, citation, and copyright standards set forth by our organization
Required Output (as a Group):
- short PR-related excerpts and marketing materials
- weekly progress reports on projects
- group presentation
- final output (options: blog posts/ journal articles/ research papers)
